“Tara is generous with her knowledge and wisdom and it is
clear that she takes pride in providing excellent care to her clients... able to relieve all of my soreness without making
me uncomfortable during the session. "

Bio:
Tara Romalis Robens, BKIN, RMT(retired)
After completing her Kinesiology Degree at the University of Western Ontario, Tara decided to return home to Vancouver to attend the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Upon graduating in 2000, she chose to focus her practice on pregnant and postnatal women. Her interest in this group of clients inspired her to take extra courses in normal, complicated, and high risk pre- and postnatal conditions.
Dedicated to the care of perinatal women, in 2005, Tara opened JOY Prenatal and Postnatal Massage Therapy Clinic. She hoped JOY would be a place where pregnant women and new mothers come to find comfort & relief, understanding, and helpful information that is relevant at this incredible time of their life.
In 2017, Tara moved to Bali, Indonesia for a one year adventure with her family. Upon returning to Canada, she decided to close her Vancouver-based practice and move to the beautiful, peaceful Sunshine Coast of British Columbia.
As of Fall 2018, Tara Romalis Robens' practice re-located to Gibsons, BC.
September 2024 marks the end of Tara's RMT practice as she and her family begin traveling and adventuring around the world.
Tara loves children and enjoys teaching parents how to do infant massage as well. Tara and her husband, Dave, have two wonderful children, Molly Ava (2006) and Zev Forest (2009).
